PRATISTHA CONSTRUCTION
The public website for Pratistha Construction, a contracting company, built for prospective clients who want to see its projects and contact it directly.
A contractor's credibility depends on work you can inspect and a direct way to get in touch. Before calling, a prospective client wants to see comparable projects and who runs the company.
So projects became the structure of the site: a project index and a page for each project, alongside the company, leadership, office, services and contact pages. Older addresses were redirected to their new homes, so links that already existed kept working after the restructure.
Contact is direct: phone, email and a map. I didn't build an enquiry form, because a form needs somewhere monitored to send its messages first. The client supplied the copy and business details and approved each revision round; project facts that weren't confirmed were kept off the public pages.
The design went through several directions in a few weeks: a 3D hero that I shelved for a simpler, cleaner site, several colour systems, and a brick-orange accent that went back to green at the client's request. The site also has search and social-preview metadata and page-view analytics.
The limit: there has been no accessibility or performance audit, images aren't served at multiple sizes yet, and the effect on enquiries isn't measured.
Next I would run accessibility and performance audits, serve responsive images, test how pages appear when shared, and hand domain and hosting ownership over to the client.
