About
I design the states, then I build them.
I'm Bibhushan, a UI/UX designer and frontend engineer in Kathmandu. I start from the whole flow rather than a single screen, because in business software the hard part is usually what happens two steps later: the drawer that doesn't balance, the import row that fails, the item that still needs a serial number.
I work at BIC Technology on Tigg, its accounting and point-of-sale software for businesses in Nepal. I joined as an intern in April 2025 and became UI/UX & Frontend Engineer in July 2025. I have been the only product designer on Tigg since I joined, and I also build frontend, so I move between Figma and code myself.
I studied Computer Engineering at Kathmandu University (December 2020 to August 2025). Alongside the degree I ran the KUOSC Design Community for a year, led creative work for TEDxKathmanduUniversity, and set a Nepal national record in 4×4 blindfolded cube solving at Nepali Nationals 2019. In 2025 I founded Myra, a women's-health concept that placed 2nd Runner-Up at the Hult Prize at Kathmandu University and won first prize at Project YuwaXcel in 2026. It is paused for now.
I'm preparing graduate applications in HCI and digital health, and I'm always happy to talk with people building software in Nepal.

Process
How I work at Tigg
The path a feature normally takes, from ticket to release.
- 01
Ticket
The CEO writes the ticket and explains the feature to me, or to the senior frontend engineer.
- 02
Design in Figma
I design the flow and its states. The CEO and the senior frontend engineer sometimes review it; QA, sales or backend are sometimes involved.
- 03
Ready for dev
The finished page is marked 🟢 Ready for dev. Explorations stay on 🔴 pages as an archive, in case they are useful later.
- 04
Development
I build the frontend myself, or the senior frontend engineer builds it from the design.
- 05
Dev environment
The build goes to the development environment first.
- 06
QA
QA tests the feature.
- 07
UAT
User acceptance testing.
- 08
QA again
QA checks it once more before release.
- 09
Production release
The feature is released to production.
