Experience
UI/UX & Frontend Engineer · BIC Technology (Tigg)
Jul 2025 – present · Kathmandu
Tigg is BIC Technology's accounting and point-of-sale software for businesses in Nepal. I am the only product designer on it, and I also build frontend. I work with the CEO and a senior frontend engineer day to day, and with QA, backend, DevOps and sales when a feature needs them.
- Designed cash sessions for POS web and mobile and built the web frontend: an opening count, cash in and out with reasons, a blind closing count and a required note when the drawer does not balance. In production since June 2026. Case study
- Designed batch and serial tracking across eight surfaces and built the POS frontend, prototyping the flows directly in code. Tagged release, September 2026. Case study
- Designed Bulk Import, a workspace where mapping, validation and correction happen before anything is written. Handed off before the build began; built by the senior frontend engineer. Case study
- Designed and built the company backup lifecycle (request, prepare, deliver, expire), so people can leave the page and still get their data. Case study
- Redesigned sign-in in 2026 to make the Citizens Bank integration visible to every user. Case study
- Built the frontend rules that tie currency to the account for multi-currency accounting, and a quick-approve for bank reconciliation (2025). Case study
- Built internal release tooling for the development team and a clearer company-setup flow in the ERP. Case study
- Designing the regrouped settings page (work in progress). Case study
- Smaller POS work: returning to an order after Pay Now, telling a scan from typing, and a customer-facing QR display on a separate device. Case study
UI/UX & Frontend Intern · BIC Technology (Tigg)
Apr – Jul 2025 · Kathmandu
A three-month internship as the sole product designer across POS, accounting, admin tooling and ERP, followed by the full-time role above.
- Took on design and frontend tickets across the product from the first month, working from the CEO's tickets.
- Designed the 2025 sign-in verification flow in Figma first; the work continued into the full-time role. Case study
Education
B.E. Computer Engineering · Kathmandu University
Dec 2020 – Aug 2025 (extended due to COVID-19) · GPA 3.79
Research and ventures
Myra · Founder
2025 – 2026 · Concept, now paused
A women's-health concept for Nepal. I led the idea, the UI/UX design, marketing and the frontend. Case study · Research write-up
- Ran a survey (n = 171, April–May 2025; questionnaire written by the team) alongside informal conversations. A self-selected sample, reported only as aggregates.
- The findings narrowed the concept to one testable question: consent-first sharing of health information with a partner or family member.
- Hult Prize at Kathmandu University 2025: 2nd Runner-Up (third place), and selected for the first Hult Prize national competition held in Nepal.
- Project YuwaXcel 2026: first prize (total prize NPR 75,000; finale 13 June 2026).
